Pickerelweed growing in the Mullica River, New Jersey Pine Barrens. This was found in the lower, tidal, wide part of the river, quietly growing near the banks.

I watched this bumble bee for a while. He really preferred the purple clover to the white clover. He had full pollen sacs on his back legs.
